The Zildjian 22” Gigging Cymbal Bag - Midnight Blue (ZXCB00522) offers an ideal combination of function and style for drummers of all levels. Featuring custom padded backpack straps and a padded shoulder strap, this bag can be used either as a shoulder bag or a backpack. The replaceable, molded rubber bottom adds a layer of protection, not only for cymbals, but also for the life of the bag. Padded cymbal dividers (ZXCD00120), designed to fit comfortably inside, are sold separately. Holds up to 15” Hi-Hats plus clutch and other accessories. Holds 8-10 cymbals up to 22” in size.

Fabric:
In choosing the right fabric for these bags, the Zildjian team was focused on durability, water protection and environmental impact. It was important to them that the fabric would be heavy-duty, resistant to punctures and tears, and provide water resistance to protect the valuable instruments inside. This special coated high-denier nylon checks all the boxes. Unlike leather or waxed canvas, it is easy to clean to reduce signs of wear and tear.

Custom Hardware:
Zildjian believes sometimes you just need to design it yourself; especially when it comes to tailoring every detail to ensure the perfect fit, functionality, and durability. A molded rubber bottom protects the cymbals, and extends the life of the cymbal bag. Custom floor tom hooks and adjustable straps make hanging stick bags easy and keeps them secure every time.

Straps and Pads:
Zildjian’s custom air-filled backpack straps and shoulder pads are designed to provide cushioning for the shoulders, reducing pressure when carrying heavier loads like cymbals, drumsticks, laptops, etc. With extended lengths, the straps offer comfort and support for multiple body types and make them ideal for carrying equipment to gigs, rehearsals, or when traveling.
